The following images represent the typical range of subjects for this particular Travel Images photo tour or workshop. They were selected in the knowledge that every client is able to obtain similar images, but should a particular technique be new to you I will share everything I know so that you reach every one of your photographic goals.

Dawn on St. Mary Lake with Wild Goose Island front and center. The peak at right is Goat Mountain and rises to 8,826'. Below, another version from the same viewpoint but with a tighter crop. In this view 8,064' Dusty Star Mountain dominates, with Mt. Reynolds at right.

Early and late light is often the best, but a 'sultry' day can be pleasing too.

Bear Grass and Mt. Reynolds at 9,125'.

Mt. Oberlin acts as a 'supporting role' to the Indian Paintbrush in this image.

Three dawn shots on Swiftcurrent Lake.

At right is Grinnell Point.

Below center is Grinnell Point at right, with Mt. Grinnell in the middle of the image.

Bottom, 9,321' Mount Wilbur catches some early light.

Columbian Ground Squirrel.

Swiftcurrent Falls. The peak is Grinnell Point.

A North American Brown Bear - also known as the Black Bear - near Many Glacier Lake. Statistically there are more Grizzly Bears in Glacier National Park than Brown Bears, but sightings of either are common in specific regions of the Park. We keep our distance and shoot with long lenses.

A member of the Twisted Stalk family [Streptopus Amplexifolius] found commonly in shaded forests.

Baring Falls captured with a long exposure to 'soften' the water. A tripod, f.22, and overcast light are a good starting pint for waterfall photography. However, if the shutter speed is still faster than one fifteenth of a second there are neutral density filters and the lowest ISO available to you.

Horses being guided past 8,851' Mt Grinnell for the day's trail rides.

Built in 1930, a White Motor Company red bus approaches the top of the Logan Pass. The vehicles are synonymous with Glacier and Waterton National Parks, and were rebuilt in 2001. They are known as 'Red Jammers' due to the necessity of having to jam them into gear in ye days of old.

Indian Paintbrush and Penstemon provide foreground interest and color for this shot of Mt. Reynolds.

Yellow Arnica and Penstemon growing on the rocky slopes of Mount Pollock.

I will only include a lot of sky in my images if it adds to the interest, and in this case I think it does.

A Mountain Goat 'portrait, and below a demonstration of the Goat's deftness on an almost sheer cliff face.

Swainson's Hawk in flight above the Going To The Sun road.

The east from near the top of Logan Pass. The flower is Fireweed.

One of the many macro shots one can find when exploring almost any of the trails in Glacier National Park.
There are some magnificent landscapes in the park, but sometimes another great shot is at knee level.

Changeable weather brings it's benefits such as this long lens shot looking east from Logan Pass.

A pair of Lunch Creek Falls images. Above, a semi-wide perspective with foreground color as the waters cascade by, and at right a different and wider angle yields the flat peak of Pollock Mountain.

A pair of 'middle of the day' shots that are full of light and shade due to the angle of the slopes and ridges.
Above, a shot from Logan Pass looking east at Mt. Oberlin, left, Mt Clements center, and Mt. Cannon with Birdwoman Falls visible in the middle of the image. Below, another perspective of Mt. Reynolds looking west.

At right, a cluster of Monkey flowers.

At far right is Mt. Oberlin as viewed from the Hidden Lake trail.

A view east into the Swiftcurrent valley. The distant peak at right is 8,404 Wynn Mountain.

Looking into the Swiftcurrent valley for a Lake Sherburne sunset. The peak at center is Mount Grinnell.
