This image may need some explanation! As we enter Death Valley National Park one of the first stops is at Rainbow Canyon, a place where military jets on training exercises fly through the canyon at 200 to 300 mph. The pilots have nicknamed the canyon ‘Star Wars Canyon’ due to Star Wars scenes filmed in Death Valley. Appropriately perhaps, the pilots also call the fly through the ‘Jedi Transition’!
